On July 14th 2014 we left Nampa Idaho and headed to Otis Orchards, Washington to spend some time with Paul and his family. The trip was enjoyable and we had our granddaughter, Elyssa, along for the trip. We stopped at a truck stop for fuel and found a truck had lost his trailer while pulling away from the fuel pumps. He was not having a good day. We stopped at Columbia Sun RV Resort in Kennewick, Wa because we had already driven about 275 miles and that was enough.

Tuesday morning we were on our way and arrived in Otis Orchards, Wa just after noon and found we really can get our rig down into Paul’s back yard. It took some doing, adding air to the hitch, letting air out of the rear suspension, going real slow but we got-er-done and were set up to spend some time there.

While visiting we attended a ’Movie in the Park’ and helped with the building of a new chicken coop. We enjoyed time relaxing with family.

Sharon’s brother, Wade, was traveling with us and we celebrated is birthday. We spent some time sitting around the fire pit.

Emilee had girls camp while we were there and Paul served as camp security. Sharon embroidered on a t-shirt for the assignment.

Our time in Otis Orchards went flying by and it was too soon time to be on our way.
