Our newest grandchild was born September 4th 2014. We planned to visit him and his parents the last part of October but did not want to drive to that part of the country with our RV. So we purchased tickets for an Amtrak trip. (that was on our bucket list – a train trip)

On 21 October we boarded an Amtrak train in Fort Worth, Texas and started our trip to Ann Arbor, Michigan. We had a layover in Chicago and took the time to visit the Willis (formerly Sears) Tower and view Chicago from 103 stories up in the air.

It took a while to convince Sharon to walk out onto the glass floor for a picture.
We arrived in Ann Arbor on 23 October and met Hunter Emerson Roberts, grandchild # 19.

While in Ann Arbor we took a trip to Dexter, Michigan to visit the Dexter Apple Cider Mill. That was very enlightening and enjoyable and the cider was very delicious.

Too soon our time to return to Texas came and we said our goodbyes.
